Mark Guenther Sr., 62, of Cadet died June 19, 2023, at his home. Mr. Guenther worked as a delivery driver for Wholesale Plumbing and was longtime volunteer for the De Soto Little League. He was born June 17, 1961, in Crystal City, the son of Glenwood Guenther of Potosi and the late Rose Jeanette (Davis) Guenther.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Lori Ann (Rutledge) Guenther.
He is survived by two sons: Mark Guenther Jr. of De Soto and Edward Guenther of Cadet; his sister: Lori (Buford) Watson of Potosi; two brothers: Roger (LeAnn) Guenther of Potosi and Duane (Terri) Guenther of Ste. Genevieve; and four grandchildren: Garrett, Layla, Carter and Ruth Ann.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m Thursday, June 22, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., De Soto. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 11514 Hwy. A., Richwoods. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
