Linda Kathleen Schmitt, 72, of De Soto died Aug. 31, 2023, at Stonebridge in De Soto. Ms. Schmitt was a receptionist for Quintin’s Tile Co. and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was born March 27, 1951, in De Soto, the daughter of the late Quintin V. and Gladine (Brakefield) Schmitt.
She is survived by a sister-in-law: Margaret Goff; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by a half brother: Michael Goff
A graveside service is scheduled for at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1402 S. Fifth St., in De Soto, officiated by Chaplain Bob Crecelius. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
