Linda Elaine (Ellis) Benson, 80, of Bonne Terre died July 3, 2023, in Crystal City. Mrs. Benson was born April 28, 1943, in Crystal City, the daughter of the late Mary Frances (Bollinger) and William Robert "Bob" Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband: David A. Benson Sr.
She is survived by a son: David A. (Regina) Benson of Farmington; a daughter: Kelly L. Crawford of Bonne Terre; a sister-in-law: Kathy Ellis; four grandchildren: Derrek A. Crawford, Vicky N. Benson, Scotty L. Benson and Kristen (T.C.) Jennings; four great-grandchildren: Riley, Ryane, Rhett and Hayes; and four nieces and nephews: Mindy, Mike, Brian and Steve. She was preceded in death by a brother: James J. Ellis; and a grandson: John David Benson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
