Wilma Rolens, 75, of Imperial died Feb. 17, 2026. Mrs. Rolens attended St. Joachim Catholic School and graduated in 1968. After graduation, she worked at Stouffers Riverfront Inn for 10 years before joining Old Mexico for four years. She went on to work at the United Van Lines cafeteria, retiring after 30 years. Red was her favorite color, as she was a redhead. A cheerful, fun-loving, full-spirited and energetic woman, she was known as “Sissy,” “Lucille,” “Peel,” Wilma “Snatch,” and, most importantly, “Mo-Mo.” She will be remembered for her strength, honesty and continual support. She loved spending time with her family and friends, camping and relaxing on the Meramec River and Washington State Park. Most of all, she loved time spent at home with her husband, where she was passionate about cleaning and tending to her yard. She was a gifted singer and dancer who loved music, with her favorite artists being Loretta Lynn and Vince Gill. She sang in the church choir with her husband, her sister-in-law, Laura, and niece, Marcia. She also enjoyed the slot machines at the casino, often playing the penny slots with her sister-in-law, Kitty, the day after Christmas. She was known at family gatherings for her fried pies and “Mexican” chocolate pies. Born June 23, 1950, in Old Mines, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Grace Ross.

She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart: Arthur “Art” Rolens, whom she married in November of 1969; two children: James Arthur “Punky” (Jenny) Rolens and Misty (Rick) Roberts; four grandchildren: Zachary (Brittney) Rolens, Raymond (Alexis) Roberts, Sarah Rolens and Kaylee Roberts; five great-grandchildren: Abriella Roberts, Rosalie Rolens, Bellami Roberts, Jacob Rolens and Atlas Roberts; four siblings: Alberta (Billy) Lewis, Paul (Arlene) Ross, Clearance Ross and Kathleen (James) Reary; her in-laws: Helen Ross, Mary Benoist and Laura (Gary) Leffert; her nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ray and Vermeda Rolens; four brothers: James, John, Raymond and Donnie; two sisters: Mary and Mag; five brothers-in-law: Ted Privette, Leroy Rolens, Floyd Rolens, Carl Warren and Bob Hummel; and six sisters-in-law: Judy Ross, Marge Ross, Kitty Rolens, Sally Warren, Catherine Hummel and Georgia Dempsey.  

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 13, at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 4614 Blue Springs Road, in Imperial. A celebration of life is scheduled from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at the Arnold VFW Hall, 2301 Church Road. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
