William Ray Sellers, 84, of Blackwell died Dec. 30, 2025, in Crystal City. Mr. Sellers was the owner and operator of Sellers and Sons Roofing. Known as the ultimate wheeler and dealer, he had a sharp mind, a strong work ethic and a gift for making things happen. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and the Jefferson County Coon Club. He also was a member of Peace Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. He will be remembered for his dedication, integrity and love for independence and adventure. Born Feb. 9, 1941, in Roselle, he was the son of the late Henry Sellers and Ruth (Vestal) Sellers.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Cleo “Rose” Sellers.

He is survived by his son: J.R. (Sondra) Sellers of Kinston, N.C.; two brothers: Glenn Sellers of Ste. Genevieve and Elmer Sellers of Farmington; a sister: Linda Sellers of Ste. Genevieve; two granddaughters: Kelsey (Anthony) DiNoia and Orlanda (Isaac) Longoria; a great-grandson: Gatlin DiNoia; and numerous other family members and friends.

He also was preceded in death by a son: Tony Sellers; three brothers: Bobby Sellers, Luther Sellers and Henry Sellers; and three sisters: Ellen Knight, Louise Arrasmith and Mary Wadlow.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral Mass at noon Saturday, Jan. 10, at Peace Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 11096 Hwy. 21, in Hillsboro, 63050, officiated by Pastor Theissen. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to Peace Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
