William Ervin Rulo, 93, of Barnhart died Aug. 5, 2024. Born Feb. 11, 1931, in De Soto, Mr. Rulo was the son of the late Mary Nora (Rulo) Missi and William J. Hancock.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Ella Mae Rulo.
He is survived by five children: Janet Rulo of Festus, Lawrence Rulo of Barnhart, Richard Rulo of Barnhart, Raymond Rulo of Barnhart and William Rulo of Hillsboro; four grandchildren: Lawrence Ervin Jr., Misty Rulo, Shannon Rulo and Chance Rulo; three great-grandchildren: Justin Deyoner, Chassidy Rulo and Meagan Rulo; four siblings: Charles (Dorthy) Missi, Paul Missi, Pat Missi and David Missi; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by a sister: Rosemary Dobbs.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a service at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
