Wesley G. White, 21, of De Soto died Aug. 20, 2025, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Wesley was a 2022 De Soto High School graduate and enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels. Born July 18, 2004, in Reno, Nev., he was the son of Deborah L. (Thebeau) Bequette and Paul Bequette of De Soto
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by a grandmother: Priscilla Bresh of Imperial; four siblings: Rebecka Bequette of De Soto, Michael (Samantha) Clark of Potosi, James Clark of Austin, Texas, and Dawson Bequette of De Soto; three nieces: Brooklyn, Emma and Aubree; three nephews: Braxton, Blayne and Coulton; an aunt: Donna (Gerald) Hellwege of Imperial; two close friends: Kevin Price and Kyle Price; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Christopher White; a grandfather: George Thebeau; an uncle: David Thebeau; and a step-grandfather: Roy Bresh.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
