Vivien E. Pope, 71, of Festus died Sept. 17, 2023, in Festus. Mrs. Pope was a member of the Festus Eagles and enjoyed line dancing and crocheting. Born Feb. 25, 1952 in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Floyd R. and Patricia L. (Flaherty) Marler.
She is survived by her husband: Donald M. Pope Sr. of Festus; a son: Donald M. (Diane) Pope Jr. of Festus, MO; a daughter: Donna (Paul) Roper of Bonne Terre, four grandchildren: Courtney (Danny) Thayer, Brittany Pope, Dalton (Janin) Pope and Allen Pope; two great-grandchildren: Cooper and Zachary; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Brandon and Christopher Yates.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave, in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
