Bingham, Vincent

Vincent Darnell Bingham, 62, of Crystal City died Sept. 11, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Bingham was a Crystal City High School and Missouri Baptist University graduate. He was known to have three loves in his life: God, family and track. He loved coaching athletes and was inducted as a member of the Missouri Track Hall of Fame. His love for track began in elementary school when he became a member of the Jets Track Club, and he used the knowledge and experience he gained to help many athletes experience success. He not only coached the Jets Track Club but also led many high school programs and athletes throughout Jefferson County and the St. Louis area. He also coached at Kansas University, Maryville University, Missouri Baptist University, the University of Missouri, Neosha Junior College, Lindenwood University and was the head coach of the National NAIA Championship Missouri Baptist Track Team. He will be remembered for making friends wherever he went. Born May 31, 1963, he was the son of the late Lilly May Bingham and the youngest of four children.

He is survived by two nephews: William (Billy) Bingham and Vincent (Bud) Bingham; four nieces: Natasha Roberts, Kaneisha Bingham, Kara Bingham and Becca; and 20 grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Denise Renee Bingham; and two brothers: James and William (WeeWee) Bingham. 

Visitation is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Gracelife Chapel, 1 Victory Drive, in Pevely, officiated by the Rev. Ralph Neil and Pastor Randy Starkey. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
