Thomas F. Bryant Sr., 76, of Hillsboro died Aug. 5, 2024. Mr. Bryant was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in High Ridge. Tom found joy in his garage as he was a master mechanic for more than 50 years. He was a classic car enthusiast and when he wasn’t in the garage you could find him on the couch watching any shows about cars. He loved the outdoors and riding his lawn mower. Born March 28, 1948, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Emerson and Jewel (Noel) Bryant.
He is survived by his wife: Constance (Wade) Bryant; two children: Sandra (Charles) Stege and Denise (Richard) Burnett; six grandchildren: Charles Stege III, Emily Stege, Dylan Stege, Alyssa Burnett, Austin Bryant and Logan Bryant; six great-grandchildren: Brayden, Chloe and Kinley, Charles, Rhyatt and Cash; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sons: William “Billy” Bryant and Thomas “Tommy” Bryant; four siblings: Louise Stipcak, Robert Bryant, Leone Bryant and Jeanette Bryant.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until a service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
