Steven Terry Schilling Sr., 76, of Arnold died Oct. 2, 2025, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Schilling worked as a bottler for Anheuser-Busch before retiring. He was a member of the Arnold Elks Lodge 2372 and the Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club. He enjoyed fishing, shooting sporting clays, playing cards with his friends and spending quality time with his family. Born Jan. 19, 1949, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Opal (Blake) and William Schilling.
He is survived by his wife: Gizella (Jager) Schilling; two children: Stephen Schilling Jr. of Festus and Christine (Bill) Mohart of Festus; two grandchildren: Blaine (Ashley) Mohart and Derek (Kelsey) Mohart; six great-grandchildren: Valeree, Knox, Venture, Cooper, Quinn and Travis; two siblings: Tom (Shirley) Schilling of Potosi and Debbie (the late Fred) Costello of Fletcher; and his grand dog: Phoebe.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Michael Schilling and Bob Schilling.
