Steven Glenn Heitman, 61, of Kirkwood died Dec. 16, 2023, at his mother’s home. Mr. Heitman worked in IT for thirty years, beginning his career in Florida and then finally transferring back to Missouri to be with his family. He excelled at golf and bowling, earning many trophies and accolades along the way. Known for his friendly, comedic nature, he was never without friends. He loved enjoying a drink and a good cigar. Born Aug. 7, 1962, in St. Louis, he was the son of Rosalie Wilson and the late Raymond Heitman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother: Ray Heitman; two sisters: Laura Heitman and Jennifer Arellano; as well as many other family members and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Newcomer Funeral Home West County Chapel, 2211 Clarkson Road, in Chesterfield. A gathering will take place from 2-4 p.m. after the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
