Steven Bahr Sr., 72, of Cedar Hill died Feb. 17, 2026. Mr. Bahr was known for loving deeply and living fully, especially when it came to his family and grandchildren. He had a passion for motorcycles and working on vehicles. He loved telling stories, and if you hadn’t heard them at least 10 times, he’d gladly tell them again. He also loved dogs, especially his chihuahuas. He will be remembered for his stories, love and laughter. Born Feb. 5, 1954, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Gilbert H. and Margie (Schaeffer) Bahr.
He is survived by his wife: Gloria (Palmer) Bahr; two children: Steven Bahr II and Amanda (Bahr) Bell; five grandchildren: Hailey Bahr, Khloe Bahr, Caden Miller, Jaylen Clark and Madilyn Clark; a sibling: Dennis (Debra) Bahr; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by a grandson: Steven Bahr III; siblings: Gilbert “Buster” Bahr, Sandy (Bahr) Defer and Brenda (Bahr) Harden.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Cedar Hill VFW, 1 Lynn Lane, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
