Stephon L. Seidl, 65, of De Soto died Sept. 19, 2026, at his home. Mr. Seidl was a retired carman for Union Pacific Railroad. Born Dec. 16, 1960, in Piggot, Ark., he was the son of the late John G. and Lela Joy (Johnson) Seidl.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Pauline “Polly” (Sanders) Seidl.
He is survived by four children: Cameron Seidl of De Soto, Joshua Seidl of De Soto, Kodie Seidl of St. Louis and Brian (Amanda) Wall of De Soto; three grandchildren: Jeffrey Wall, Aaron Seidl and Destiny Berardi; and five siblings: Christine Seidl of Festus, Katherine Seidl of Canton, Mich., Esther Wright of Hartford, Mich., Joseph Wright of Hartford, Mich., and Lerita Fellows of Hartford, Mich.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter: Jane Wall; and brother: Brian Wright.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
