Shirley (Hunt) Simonds, 90, of Imperial died Jan. 3, 2026. Mrs. Simonds was born Feb. 5, 1935.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Simonds.
She is survived by three children: Samuel R. Simonds, William E. (Cathleen) Simonds and Sharon J. (Cliff) Leve; nine grandchildren: Katherine, Cody (Kensy Wessels), Jeff (Antoinette Willmeno), Zoe, Christopher, Joshua (Allison Brickner), Zachary, Jordan and Logan; and two great-grandchildren: Gage and Kash.
She also was preceded in death by a sibling: Alan Hunt.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at New Hope Methodist Church, 3921 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the church. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
