Shelby Jean Henry, 83, of Festus died Aug. 11, 2024. Before her retirement, Mrs. Henry worked at Commerce Bank and Ozark Federal Savings and Loan for multiple years. She enjoyed cheering on the Cardinals, playing dominos, winning in putt-putt, watching Hallmark shows and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born July 16, 1941, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Genevieve Grace (Brown) and Walter Ralph Coffelt.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Marvin Dale Henry; a daughter: Dana (Brent) Stafford of Claremore, Okla.; a sister: Shirley (Ben) Baker of Clinton, Ill.; two grandchildren: Kyle (Gentry) Stafford and Travis (Makayla) Stafford; and two great-grandchildren: Dex Stafford and Knox Stafford.
She was preceded in death by two infant brothers: Lloyd and Floyd Coffelt.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at First Baptist Church of Festus-Crystal City, 107 N. Truman Blvd., officiated by Pastor Carey Jones. Entombment will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
