Sheila Yvonne Kaune, 86, of Hillsboro died May 2, 2025. Mrs. Kaune was Christian. She enjoyed traveling, tending to her flowers, attending church and spending time with her family, friends and pets. Born Aug. 17, 1938, in Farmington, she was the daughter of the late Wilma (Sides) Brown.
She is survived by her husband: William Kaune; five children: Dave (Debbie) Neavill, Chad (Terri) Neavill, Chris (Eva) Neavill, William J. Kaune and Misty Vogt; 12 grandchildren: Candice Neavill, Claire Neavill, Anna (Ben) Reigel, William E. (Sarah) Kaune, Nicholas Kaune, Jacob Kaune, Brianna Neavill, Madaline (Curt) Brinker, Austin Neaville, Shelby Neaville, Tim Kelley and Heather Summers; 10 great-grandchildren: Elias, Levi, Jeremiah, Elijay, Billy, Willow, Jensyn, Landon, Emily and Abby; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Barb Haywod; a brother: Milton Menge; and a granddaughter: Jennifer.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Gracelife Chapel, 1 Victory Drive, in Pevely, 63070. Memorials may be made to Gracelife Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
