Sara Luellen Siebert, 69, of Herculaneum died Oct. 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Ms. Siebert was a 1973 graduate of Festus High School. She worked as a switchboard operator for Jefferson Memorial Hospital and as a learning and behavior disabilities teacher in the De Soto School District. She was a 50-year member of PEO chapters EH and NE. Born Aug. 10, 1955, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Elizabeth A. (Strother) Vinyard of Festus and the late Keith B. Vinyard.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son: Patrick S. Siebert; a sister: Laura L. (Dr. Greg) King of St. Louis County; a brother: Keith H. (Sally) Vinyard of Festus; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 -5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W Main, in Festus. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Justin Metiva of Good News Community Church of Festus. Burial will be in the Presbyterian/Methodist Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to the JSI (Jeffco Subcontracting, Inc.) sheltered workshop in Arnold or Good News Community Church of Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
