Sandra R. Moody, 83, of Festus, formerly of Fort Worth, Texas, died April 6, 2025. Mrs. Moody enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. She loved spending time with family and would talk about her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to anyone who would listen. Born April 12, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Gunter) Baker and William Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William L. Moody Jr.
She is survived by two daughters: Shelly Griep of Festus and Melissa (Stacy) Greer of Everman, Texas; two sons: Patrick Moody of Charleston, W.Va., and Randall Moody of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren: Jaime (Jared) Drummond, Scott Haase, Christopher Griep, Mallory (Clayton) Griep-Sebacher, Kimberly (Dallas) Graham, Justin (Paula) Greer, Courtney (Will Daniel) Greer, Cole Moody and Leah Burns; 13 great grandchildren: Kellen Drummond, Keaton Drummond, Morgan Griep, Kyler Graham, Carter Graham, Avery Sebacher, Easton Sebacher, Benjamin Greer, Olivia Greer, Matthew Greer, Justin Greer, Parklynn Connor and Everlee Bruman; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Vickie Moody; and an infant son: William Moody.
The family will hold a celebration of life from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Joachim Golf Course Clubhouse, 959 Scenic Drive, Herculaneum. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, in Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale, Texas.
