Sandra (Blackwolf) Tharp, 86, of Cedar Hill died February 16, 2026. Mrs. Tharp will be remembered for her strong spirit, kind heart and the pride she took in the simple joys of life. Even at 86, she enjoyed tending to her yard, keeping it beautiful and well cared for. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends, creating many memories. She was born on Aug. 29, 1939, in Enid, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Homer Tharp.
She is survived by a son: Anthony “Tony” (Marla Smith Tharp) Tharp; four grandchildren: Danny Tharp, Ryan Tharp, Alexandra Smith and Peyton Smith; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
