Ryan D. Bowles, 46, of St. Louis died Nov. 15, 2024. Mr. Bowles was a 1996 graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 2000. He held multiple leadership positions in packaging, procurement and logistics where he influenced and mentored many individuals. He was known for his genuine compassion, sensitivity, kindness and competitive spirit. An avid lover of sports, he especially enjoyed University of Kentucky basketball, the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals. Regardless of the team or sport, he was always eager to watch a game with his family and numerous friends. More than anything, he loved spending time with his son, Caelen, whom he considered his kindred spirit. He also was devoted to his faith. He will be remembered for his compassion, faith and love for God. Born Feb. 23, 1978, in St. Louis, he was the son of Joe and Linda (McCauley) Bowles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son: Caelen; a sister: Missy (DeShon Thomas) Bowles; a “bonus” son: Brayden Glotfelty; his lifelong best friend: John Murphy; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; an uncle: Jimmy Bowles; two aunts: Debbie (Bowles) Walker and Patsy (McCauley) Kirschbaum; and a cousin: Sean McCauley.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7., at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3009 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. A celebration of life will immediately follow the memorial service at Pupillos Banquet and Event Center, 3033 High Ridge Blvd. Memorials may be made to NAMI St. Louis at namistl.org or to Annie’s Hope annieshope.org.
