Ruth Ann Robertson, 80, of Festus died May 26, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Robertson worked as a bookkeeper until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, traveling with friends, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Born Aug. 13, 1944, in Qulin, she was the daughter of the late Nettie Lee (Waters) and JD Self.
She is survived by a son: Jeff (Karen) Robertson of Arnold; a daughter: Laura (the late Kenneth) Blecha of Festus; four grandchildren: Michael (Kayla) Robertson, David Robertson, Chris Blecha and Nicole (Austin) Walker; two great-grandchildren: Elliott Robertson and Emmett Robertson; two sisters: Joan (the late Alfred) McMeans of Qulin and Judy (the late Eddie) Braschler of Doniphan; and a brother: Danny (Anita) Self of Qulin.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Etta (Lynn) Tipton.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus. Memorials may be made to Cardinal’s Care Charitable Foundation, 700 Clark St., St. Louis, 63102. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
