Ruth Ann Politte-FitzGibbon, 83, Prescott Valley, Ariz., formerly of De Soto, died Sept. 28, 2023, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Ms. Politte-FitzGibbon was retired. Born May 21, 1940, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Cecilia and Leo Politte.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard FitzGibbon.
She is survived by three children: John Patrick of Oakland, Calif., Ann Kathleen of Gladbrook, Iowa, and David Joseph of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two grandchildren: Trevor Ray of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Zachary Alex of St. Paul, Minn.
She was preceded in death by four siblings: Paul H., Milton, Donald and James Politte.
A celebration of life for Ruth Ann and Richard FitzGibbon will be at noon Sunday, April 21, at Walther Park, 1551 Veterans Drive, in De Soto.
