Hubbard, Roy

Roy Dean Hubbard, 82, of Wentzville died Feb. 8, 2026, in Cedar Hill. Mr. Hubbard was known for living a life marked by faith, service and quiet strength. He served in the U.S. Army for 29 years, was a Pentecostal pastor and spent years in sales for an office supply company. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and collecting Indian memorabilia. Born Aug. 22, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, he was the son of the late Samuel and Leona (Adams) Hubbard.

He is survived by his wife: Sharon (Simmons) Hubbard; a niece: Kim Hubbard; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by six siblings: Helen Harris, Peggy Doggett, Katherine Newton, Lloyd Hubbard, Floyd Hubbard and Frankie Mitchell.

Burial will take place in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
