Ronald Edward Cox Sr., 66, of Pevely died Oct. 28, 2025, at his home. Mr. Cox served in the U.S. Army and had worked in the roofing industry. Born Aug. 7, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Mary (Kraft) and Donald Cox.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Chamness) Cox; two sons: Ronald E. (Dana) Cox Jr. of Festus and Shane E. (Jennifer) Cox of Herculaneum; 11 grandchildren: Isaac, Autumn, Noah, Trinity, Kylie, Madison, Nathan, Paige, Carter, Riley and Chloe; two sisters: Linda (Mark) Plies of Kentucky and Shirley (Jeff) Graham of St. Louis; and a brother: Tom (Robin) Cox of Hillsboro.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Cox.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
