Roberta Marion Ossenfort, 81, of Arnold died Feb. 2, 2024. Mrs. Ossenfort was a homemaker, a room mother and volunteer. Her hobbies included cooking, bowling, crocheting, sewing, cross-stitching, doing arts and crafts, solving puzzles and collecting knick-knacks. She was a member of Arnold VFW Auxiliary 2593, Cooties, Herculaneum Chapter 325 OES and Women of Wauwanoka. Born April 25, 1942, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Marion (Weis) and William G. Byington.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years: John Ossenfort.
She is survived by two children: Carol (Steven) Eubanks of Imperial and John Ossenfort Jr. of Arnold; one grandchild: Aaron Ossenfort; a sibling: Wilma Helms; a sister-in-law: Peg Byington; a niece: Barbara (Russ) Martell; a nephew: Robert (Sherry) Byington; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Byington.
