Robert "Sean" Cochran, 59, of High Ridge died Sept. 27, 2026. Mr. Cochran spent a significant part of his life in and around the Kansas City area and considered it his hometown. He moved to the St. Louis suburbs in his 20s, and built a life there. He was known as the life of the party, and if there was laughter in the room, chances were he was at the center of it with his larger-than-life personality, laughing loudly, telling stories and making sure those around him were having a good time. He shared 35 years of marriage, love, laughter, friendship and devotion with his wife. He loved music and the Kansas City Chiefs. He also looked forward to watching wrestling on Friday nights with his sister. Most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family. Born Jan. 4, 1967, at Air Force Base in Knob Noster. He was the son of Jeannette Stanford and the late Robert “Bob” Cochran. He was the stepson of Kathy Lane Cochran.
In addition to his mother and stepmother, he is survived by his wife: Kelly Lisa Cochran; a sister: Wendy Clifford-Cochran; a daughter: NaTasha Brand; a son: Zachary Sperling; a grandson: Logan Ruesch; a niece: Tina Koch, and her children, Hailey and Shyloh; a stepsister: Jesse; and many other family members and friends.
