Robert Lee “Bob” Sale, 76, of Bonne Terre died June 16, 2024, at his home. Mr. Sale was a factory worker at American Can. He was an avid supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed seafood, fast cars and sports. He also enjoyed attending car shows and showing his Corvettes and Mustangs, going on vacations by the ocean, collecting seashells and spending time with family and friends. Born Dec. 30, 1947, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Robert Sale and Virginia (Lichterman) Noonan and his stepfather Charles Noonan.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years: Sue Sale; two sons: Robert Gene (Mindy) Sale and Jason Michael (Stephanie) Sale; a daughter: Shannon Nicole (Lance) Iverson; five grandchildren: Luke Sale, Christian Iverson, Andrew Sale, Adam Sale and Caylee Iverson; three siblings: Donna (Randy) Blue, Joyce (Bobby) Robinson and Terry Shelton; two brothers-in-law: Ron (Joyce) Heitert and Jerry (Sally) FelDotto; and four sisters-in-law: Jane (Matt) Lawson, Joan (Tom) McAnally, Janet (Mike) Thomas and Ginny Heitert.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Mike Noonan and Leroy Sale; a sister-in-law: Judy FelDotto; and a brother-in-law: John Heitert.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. until a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at Oak Bridge Community Church, 1989 Richardson Road, in Arnold, officiated by Pastor Tom Noblitt. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Affton. Memorials may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. If ordering flowers, send them to C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home, 1116 N.
