Robert "Bob" Johnston Jr., 52, of Blackwell died Jan. 27, 2025, at his home. Mr. Johnston worked at Integram St. Louis Seating until its closing. He then went on to retire from the Rockwood School District. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Heartland Bass Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Born May 30, 1972, in Crystal City, he was the son of Bonnie (Pope) Johnston of Blackwell and the late Robert "Bob" Johnston Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 30 years: Cathy (Tutterrow) Johnston of Blackwell; two children: Steven Johnston of Festus and Ashley Johnston of Blackwell; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sibling: Stephanie Johnston; his paternal grandparents: Homer and Mary Johnston; and his maternal grandparents: Charles and Martha Pope.
