Limpert, Richard

Richard Dale “Rich” Limpert, 82, of Barnhart died July 3, 2024, at his home. Mr. Limpert was a retired line haul truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Local 618. He was of the Catholic faith. Born Sept. 7, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Ruth Kraus and Clarence “Bud” Limpert.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Phyllis (Bay) Limpert of Barnhart; four children: Sherrie (the late Daniel) Ysaguirre of St. Clair, Shelia (William) Mitchell of St. Louis, Kristina (Stephen) Rogers of O'Fallon and Richard (Todd) Limpert of Pevely; three siblings: Lawrence (Juanita) Limpert of Arnold, Ronald (the late Sallie) Limpert of St. Peters and Judith Cromer of St. Louis; six grandchildren: Melanie Ysaguirre of St. Louis, Joshua Rose of Barnhart, Zachary Limpert of St. Louis, Nicholas Rogers of O'Fallon, Alexis Rogers of O'Fallon and Jaxon Limpert of Barnhart; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Danielle Ysaguirre; and two siblings: Frances Faulker and Rose Brown.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
