
Raymond Thomas “Tom” Niehoff, 73, of Imperial died Oct. 7, 2025, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Niehoff was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired process manager for automation/robotics from Semco Plastics in St. Louis. Born June 13, 1952, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Elaine (Dittman) and Wilbert “Wil” Niehoff.
He is survived by his wife: Maria Luz (Valvaneda) Niehoff; six children: Jaclyn “Jackie” (Ben) Arnold of Festus, Thomas “Tommy” (Laura) Niehoff of Manchester, Maria (Brian) Franz of Hillsboro, Francisco “Frankie” (Tonya West) Escoto of Barnhart, Jason (Keri) Zumbrun of Festus and Randall (Taylor) Zumbrun of House Springs; 13 grandchildren: Zackary and Kaylee Arnold, Charlotte, Addy and Lucy Niehoff, Joseph Alverez, Cassandra Delonjay, Larissa and Frankie Escoto, Karson, Kynnzleigh, Kayleigh and Cleo Zumbrun; three great-grandchildren: Sophia, Camlia and Julian Alverez; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Sonny (Jeanne survives of St. Louis) Niehoff and Robert (Carolyn survives of Colorado) Niehoff; and a granddaughter: Leah Arnold.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Michael Holland of Radiant Life Church in Festus. Burial with full military honors will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
