R. Wanda Dodge, 101, of Hillsboro died June 18, 2026. Mrs. Dodge was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, appreciating nature, especially flowers, listening to music and singing. Born Dec. 23, 1924, in Annapolis, she was the daughter of the late Lily (Lewis) and Ernest Chilton.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years: Alvin W. Dodge.
She is survived by three children: Stephen (Joyce) Dodge of Dallas, Texas, Ellaina Semifero of Mobile, Ala., and Belinda (Edward) Harris of Hillsboro; six grandchildren: Brian (Penny) Dodge, Chris (Connie) Dodge, Jennifer Semifero, Vanessa Semifero, Racheal (Randy) Wakeland and Ben Harris; 28 great-grandchildren: David, Bethany, Joanna, Jonathan, Rebekah, James, Daniel, Timothy, Nathanael, Tonya, Leah, Stephen, Josiah, Elizabeth, Susan, Caleb, Philip, Amanda, Nicole, Mariah, Maggie, Tristin, Sophia, Maritza, Allison, Rebecca, Anna Belle and Catherine; and 16 great-great-grandchildren: Catherine, Caleb, Aria, Zoe, Crimson, Rhett, Quinn, Oliver, Alaina, Nathanael, Anthony, Shawn, Emmy, Lyncoln, Cooper and Elaina.
She also was preceded in death by a grandson: Angelo Semifero;a son-in-law: Jerry Semifero; and 10 siblings: Myrtle, Eunice, Vivian, Marvin, Elvie, Velma, Oren, Harold (Jim), James Elmer (Jake) and Garvin; and a stepsister: Gloria Doss.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
