Paul David “Dave” Carroll, 75, of Hillsboro died March 25, 2026, in Festus. Mr. Carroll enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, spending time with his wife and playing with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his warm heart, dedication to his family and friends and the love he shared with those around him. Born May 5, 1950, in Chaffee, he was the son of the late Edna and Leo Carroll.
He is survived by his wife: Vicky; four children: Paul (Julie), Melinda (Victor), Amanda (Nick), and Michael (Starr); 13 grandchildren: Alexis (Kage), Hannah (Kory), Lauren (Cody), Shyanne (Wyatt), Elizabeth (Jonathan), Joshua, Jewel, Karla (Alex), Victor (Michelle), Chandler, Cole, Payden and Cassidy; eight great-grandchildren: Brailee, Bryce, Zayden, Kameron, Azalea, Bennie, Stella and Jonah; and a sister: Darlene.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Willard “Butch.”
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until services at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel.
