Paul C. Kaufman, 86, of Meramec Heights died Dec. 7, 2023, at his home. Mr. Kaufman was a bricklayer and later a general contractor until his retirement. He was a friend of Bill W. for more than 40 years. Born Oct. 22, 1937, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Ida L. (Strohl) and Charles D. Kaufman.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Sylvia (Stroh) Kaufman; a daughter: Laura Kaufman; two sons: Edward and Charles “Chuck” Kaufman; a daughter-in-law: Christina (Watson); five grandchildren: Heather (Phil), April (James), Brandy, Paula and Gabrielle; seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sibling: David L. Kaufman; and a daughter: Paula Kaufman.
