
Patricia Lee Birdnow, 85, of High Ridge died Sept. 10, 2025, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mrs. Birdnow worked as a beautician for several salons and later owned her own. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Cedar Hill, where she participated in the Lutheran Women’s Group. She enjoyed the trip of a lifetime to Washington D.C. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed going on adventures, visiting parks, the zoo, the science center and various museums with her grandchildren. Born Jan. 16, 1940, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Marie (Cossel) Terry.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: James Logan Scott and Lee Birdnow.
She is survived by three sons: Robert “Bob” (Cheryl) Scott, Kerry (Kathy) Scott, and Kevin (Paige) Scott; a daughter-in-law: Mara Scott; 11 grandchildren: Shannon, Brandon, Justin, Shauna, Ben, Caitlin, Zac, Jimmy, Chole, Michael and William; five great-grandchildren; Hailey, Evelynn, Allen, Layla and Preston; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Sean Scott.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Saturday, Sept. 20, at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel, 351 Monroe St., in Troy. Interment will be in Pin Oak Cemetery in Truxton. Memorials may be made to the American Paraplegia Society (PALS), P.O. Box 222, Troy, 63379. Arrangements are under the direction of Kempter-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy.
