Williams, Patricia

Patricia Fay Williams, 80, of Festus died Nov. 11, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Williams worked as an account executive for Philips Medical in St. Louis. She also made local history as the first woman to serve on the Festus School Board, later becoming board president in 1986. She was known to live life with curiosity, strength and a sense of adventure. She was a treasure hunter and scuba diver who joined Mel Fisher on dives at the site of the Atocha. She loved traveling, spending weekends at the lake and playing cards, especially Texas Hold ’Em with her friends at the Elks Lodge in Festus. She was a lifelong Elvis Presley fan. Most of all, she loved spending time with friends, family and her dog, Stella. She will be remembered as the heart of her family and for cheering on those around her, her laughter and her quick wit. Born Nov. 26, 1944, in Montgomery, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Christine (Warner) Trush.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: William Owen Williams; two children: Brandon (Tami) Williams of Cape Girardeau and Tara (Jed) Guidicy of Festus; four grandchildren who called her Pattymom: Sara, Cole, Caroline and Jake; and many other family members and friends.

Services will be private. Interment will take place in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
