Patricia Ann Nestle, 74, of Dittmer died Dec. 19, 2023, in St. Louis. Mrs. Nestle was the founder and proprietor of Pat Nestle Enterprises, an establishment renowned for its collection of artwork and exquisite glass originals. She curated a space of creativity across four locations. She was an avid enthusiast of horseback riding, finding joy in the company of these animals. Her passion extended to her commitment to rescuing and safeguarding animals. She will be remembered most for her kindness as a friend, her welcoming nature, genuine camaraderie and creating memories filled with laughter. Born May 5, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Verona (Stulken) O’Rourke.
She is survived by her husband: Robert Nestle of Dittmer; two nephews: Robert and Mark Ray; two great-nieces: Savannah and Paige Ray; six close friends: Don (Judy) Caputa, Virigina Klophaus, Robert (Sue) Merklin, Rick Edwards, Chris Ollayos and Betty Metz; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her siblings.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Friday, Dec. 29, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
