Patricia A. “Pat” (Gore) Pyatt, 82, of De Soto died Nov. 24, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Pyatt worked at the Shoe Factory and retired from the Plastics Factory. She will be remembered for her laugh, smile, storytelling and trips to thrift stores. She was known to light up any room and move with rhythm on the dance floor. She could be found playing penny slots at the casino. Born Sept. 19, 1942, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Lida Alberta (Cobb) Voyles and Willard Gore.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Leon Pyatt of De Soto; five children: Laura (Mike) Tureck, Jim (Bridget) Pyatt, Mike Pyatt, Tim Pyatt and Paul Pyatt; three siblings: Deb (Rob) Owens, Jerry “Bo” (Kristie) Voyles and Gary Voyles; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Gloria Jeannie Lucas, Phyllis Bax and Betty Voyles; and six brothers: James Voyles Sr., Dave Gore, William Voyles, Willard “Bill” Gore, Daniel “Beaver” Voyles and George Gore.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home, officiated by Rob Owens. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
