Pamela Sue Dees, 71, of Festus died April 11, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Dees was a retired insurance specialist with AEBO in Des Peres. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandkids and was known as their biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed crafting, refurbishing old furniture and making personalized gifts for friends and family. Born June 25, 1953, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Elaine (Pullen) and Milton Kyle.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Arnold Dees; two daughters: Carrie Dees of Festus and Dawn (Richard) Adler of Bridgeton; a son: Travis (Jamie) Dees of Festus; five grandchildren: Lauryn Shuppert, Ryan Shuppert, Eliora Adler, Grace Dees and Hope Dees; a great-grandson: Sean Andrade; a sister: Mary (the late Robert) Dyle of Bonne Terre; and a great-niece: Trista Thompson of Bonne Terre.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Hanna Shuppert; and a niece: Tammy (Billy survives of Bonne Terre) Thompson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
