Neva Fern Vance, 70, of Barnhart died March 10, 2026, at her home. Ms. Vance was a homemaker and a member of Gracelife Church. Born Oct. 30, 1955, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Priscilla Fern Stevenson and James Albert Leo Castile.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years: Donald Lee Dement.
She is survived by three children: Donny Dement of Barnhart, Cheryl Dement of Barnhart and Michelle Lee of Festus; 11 grandchildren: Colby Grobe of Arnold, Shelby Grobe of Affton, Tristin (Liddy) Lee of Ste. Genevieve, Shealynn Lee of Las Vegas, Nev., Reilly Baughman of Barnhart, J.D. Baughman of Pevely, Drake Lee of Las Vegas, Nev., Gavin Lee of Colorado, Marshall Abshier of Odessa, Evie Abshier of Odessa and MacInnis Lacey of Festus; five great-grandchildren: Lincoln Grobe of Arnold, Opie Grobe of Arnold, Della Liggett of Affton, Montgomery Lee of Ste. Genevieve and Adaline Lee of Ste. Genevieve; a sibling: Art (Sherry) Castile of Festus; and many other family members and friends.
