Mildred Louis Darian, 90, of De Soto died Sept. 27, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Darian was a homemaker and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with her family. Born Aug. 30, 1935, in Fagus, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Patterson) and Earl Melton.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth R. Darian.
She is survived by two sons: Daniel (Tracy) Darian of De Soto and Kenneth (Tammy) Darian of St. Louis; eight grandchildren: Demie, Jonah, Xavie, Eddie, Jerry, Johnny, David, and Amber; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a son: George “Ed” Luck; three brothers: Clyde (Doris), Lonnie and Ray (Betty) Melton; and a sister: Wanda Hornbuckle.
Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 2, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6020 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial, officiated by Father Donald Morris. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
