Michelle Renee Biesemeyer, 62, of Festus died Sept. 15, 2026, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Crystal City. Ms. Biesemeyer worked as a social worker for the Missouri State Prison in Fulton. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her only grandchild, Shepherd. She enjoyed camping, fishing and kayaking with her brother, Danny, and shopping with her mother. Born May 31, 1964, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Sharon (Brumbaugh) Randl of Festus and the late Paul Hadley.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by four children: Cody (Katey) Rimel of Nixa, Dane Biesemeyer of Springfield, Lindsey (Daniel) Reed of Ozark and Cole Biesemeyer of Lee’s Summit; a grandchild: Shepherd Thomas Reed; and four siblings: Daniel Layton of Festus, Rebecca (Paul) Brunner of St. Joseph, Dana Williamson of Festus and Jason (Yoli) Randl of Wentzville.
Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or ASPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
