Michael Reese Reynolds, 67, Festus

Michael Reese Reynolds, 67, of Festus, formerly of Virginia Beach, Va., died June 2, 2023, at St. Louis VA Medical Center. Mr. Reynolds was an avid fisherman. Born July 6, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Betty Jean (Buehler) Pantaleo and James Lynn Reynolds.

He is survived by three children: Brian Reynolds of Washington, D.C., Christina “Chrissy” Conway of Festus and Tony Sims of Virginia Beach, Va., who he raised like a son; four siblings: Harry “Jim” (Charlotte) Reynolds of Festus, Christy Reynolds-Beck of Festus, Linda Lee Reynolds-Johnston of Denver, Colo., and Mary (Eric) Salaby of Largo, Fla.; and a sister-in-law: Janice Reynolds of Festus.

He was preceded in death by three siblings: Rodney Reynolds, Gina Gay Reynolds-Girlish and Mildred Ann Reynolds.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon on Monday, June 12, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Food Pantry. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
