Michael Ray “Mike” Biri, 69, of Cedar Hill, formerly of Jackson, died Sept. 27, 2026, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mr. Biri had been suffering from a severe stroke since January. He was a graduate of Jackson High School. He worked for four years at the Carpenters’ Union in St. Louis, owned and operated Foot Hills Marine and was most recently employed as a mechanic at Cedar Hill Garage. He was a former president of Freedom of Road Riders Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding dirt bikes. Born May 18, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, he was the son of Arlene (Abernathy) Biri-Gaines of Poplar Bluff and the late Joseph L. Biri. He was the stepson of the late Homer Gaines.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 14 years: Susan Crader Falcone Biri of Cedar Hill, whom he married on May 24, 2012, in Hillsboro; a son: Michael (Amanda) Biri of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren: Emma, Eli, Ellie, and Ettalee Biri of Poplar Bluff; his paternal aunts: Catherine (the late Art) Hartle of Millersville, Edna Mae (late Leonard) Kluesner of New Hamburg and Virginia (the late Robert) Cotner of Jackson; and several cousins.
He is also survived by Susan’s family, including her sons: Blake (Jamie) Falcone of Kearney and Nathan Falcone of High Ridge; grandchildren: Maxton and Mason of Kearney; siblings: Mark (Amy Faulkenberry) Crader of Eureka and Marilyn (Bob) Clifford of Fenton; and sister-in-law: Joan (late Glenn) Crader of Ellisville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal uncles: Kenneth (Mary Lou) Abernathy and Leroy (Pat) Abernathy; and Susan’s family, including her parents: Paul and Piccola Crader; and her siblings: Glenn Crader and Forrest (Sherry) Crader.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 640 W. Independence St., in Jackson. Interment will be private in Russell Heights Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of McCombs Funeral Home.
