Michael Edward Brodbeck, 62, of Imperial died Dec. 17, 2023, at his home. Mr. Brodbeck worked at St. Peter’s Cemetery. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bargain hunting for antiques. Born Feb. 19, 1961, in St. Louis, he was the son of Roger Brodbeck of St. Louis and the late Vernell (Schaefer) Brodbeck.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Delia (Clark) Brodbeck.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his companion: Denise Judd of Imperial; two children: Matthew (Kellye) Brodbeck of Summerville, S.C. and Jodie (Dave) Lenau of Hillsboro; three siblings: Renee (Gary) Volz of St. Louis, Lisa (Brad) Kockner of Arnold and Jennifer (Clayton) Boice of Arnold; five grandchildren: Kathryn Brodbeck, Lillian Brodbeck, Bettye Brodbeck, Matthew (Mojo) Brodbeck Jr. and Austin Morgan; and two additional family members: Adam (Heather) Judd and Shawn (Krisi) Judd.
He also was preceded in death by a sibling: Joe Brodbeck.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at the American Legion, 910 Montebello Road, in Imperial. Arrangements are under the direction of the family.
