Mary S. Mueller, 75, of Cedar Hill died Dec. 23, 2024. Mrs. Mueller was a CNA and was dedicated to caring for others. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An animal and nature lover, she enjoyed caring for her small dogs and tending to the flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed reading, gardening and cross-stitching. She will be remembered for her compassion. Born April 8, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Rosemary (Jarvis) Gibson and Bill Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Oliver (Sonny) Mueller.
She is survived by a brother: Charles (Susan) Gibson; a brother-in-law: Gary Seavey; two stepdaughters: Sandy Kurtzeborn and April Mueller; six grandchildren: Logan Heinicke, Theresa Martensson, Samuel Ehrenreich, Dawn Kurtzeborn, Crystal (Mitch) Sampson and Jack Mueller; 11 great-grandchildren: Kaylie, Kaine, Alexis, Devon, Makala, Chance, Joshua, Tyler, Hunter, Jacob and Conner; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Scott Heinicke; a brother: Rick (Linda) Gibson; and a sister: Karen Seavey.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the De Soto Church of Christ Hall, 4523 Route 110. A luncheon will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
