Mary Jane Pate, 76, of Bloomsdale died Dec. 2, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Pate was a homemaker and, in her free time, she enjoyed fishing, shopping, camping, singing, playing games and spending time with her family. She was a member of Life Christian Church in De Soto. Born Oct. 27, 1948, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Duncan and Pearl (Hackworth) Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Michael L. Pate.
She is survived by a son: Michael (Kathy) Pate of Bloomsdale; a daughter: Malinda Pate of Bloomsdale; two brothers: Leo (Penny) Duncan of Pevely and Carl Duncan of Farmington; two sisters: Betty (Herb) Fernow of Gerald and Sue (Dave) Trupiano of De Soto; five grandchildren: Monica (Corey), Emily, Alex, Evan and Aaron (Faye); three great-grandchildren: Hayden, Isabella and baby Hovis; and numerous family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Jackie (Daniel) Shipp.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Monday, Dec. 9, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Ryan Sutton. Burial will follow in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
