Mary Ellen Pouliezos, 94, of Festus died June 1, 2024, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Home in Festus. Born July 6, 1929, in Festus, Mrs. Pouliezos was the daughter of the late Julia (Kennedy) and Frank Frazier.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Edward Alexander “Specs” Pouliezos.
She is survived by a daughter: Donna (the late Dennis) Kinsley of Festus; a granddaughter: Meghan Humbert of Spokane, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Tina Humbert; two brothers: Francis (the late Marilyn) Frazier and Vincent Frazier; a nephew: Rick (the late Louann) Frazier; and a niece: Deborah (Dave survives of Festus) Kutscher.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, June 10, at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City, officiated by Pastor Terry Crank. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
