Martha Ann Sansoucie, 48, of Pevely died Oct. 19, 2023. Ms. Sansoucie worked for many years as a medical assistant for Mercy Healthcare and Urgent Care facilities in Pacific. She was a member and second vice president of the Ladie’s Auxiliary for the Amvets Post 42 in Herculaneum, where she also enjoyed working as a bartender. Born Oct. 14, 1975, in Phoenix, Ariz., she was the daughter of the late Gail Behrens and Jimmy Dale Pippin.
She is survived by a daughter: Ashlee Birdwell of Orlando, Fla.; four sisters: Mandie (the late Kent) Swart of Arnold, Wendy (Dennis) Henderson of Arnold, April Steffen of Festus and Christina (Mike) Millerbaugh of Arnold; as well as many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life gathering is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Amvets Post 42, 690 Joachim Ave., in Herculaneum. Memorials may be made to the Brenden’s Friday Backpacks, 3259 Burning Tree Lane, Festus, 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
