Cordova, Mark

Mark Anthony Cordova, 68, of Crystal City died Dec. 26, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Cordova served as a cavalry scout in the U.S. Army from 1978 to 1982. He worked as a warehouse foreman at C.L. Smith Co. in St. Louis for more than 35 years. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, swimming, floating and visiting wineries. Born Dec. 29, 1956, in Texas, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Torras) and Lorenzo Cordova. 

He is survived by his special friend and companion: Debbie Lathim of Crystal City; two sons: Johnathan Cordova of St. Charles and Jesse Cordova of Festus; a daughter-in-law: Kaylin Cordova of Pevely; a sister: Suzanne (Eric) Tucker of Mojave, Calif.; six grandchildren: Evan, Alex, Matthew, Terra, Luna and Maggie; a special niece: Deanna Richie of California; and numerous other family members. 

He was preceded in death by a brother: Eddie Cordova. 

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
